Hello world!
This is my first blog post on my new blog, freshly created on the San Juan Island Ferry, currently leaving Orcas Island on it's way to Anacortes. I just got all my things from Camp, as I had to leave early due to the breaking of my nose.
So I was working a trail for kids at camp, and I was in the back of the trail, as there is always a staff member in the front and in the back of the group of kids. Now being in the back - super easy. You just sit while all the horses just follow eachother. Now we're approaching a corner and most of the kids go around it, until I hear a bunch of "whoa!"s and horse heads whipping around the corner. Now when you are working the back of a trail you normally just see horse butts, so when you start to see heads you know something is amiss. So all the horses start turning around and running home, back to the barn. So now I'm looking around, and my horse is running incredibly fast, with about five horses around me, on this thin trail that is only meant to go down single file, and I see a turn ahead. So I know I'm not going to stay on, so instead of getting flung off by the horse, I decided to fling my self off. I guess I tried to tuck and roll, but I guess I face planted because my face was covered with dirt, and I landed on my side. Oh well. Anyway, I decided to wait a week before going to the doctor which was I guess the wrong decision, because now I have t leave camp two weeks early to have surgery to fix it. And I'll have a cast on my face. Cool.
Anywho - I wanted to create this blog to let everyone know all the stuff I'll be doing when I move to Paris at the end of this month. Only 23 more days till I go!!!!!
I still have a lot to do before then. Surgery on the 10th, cast on face for 6 days after that, go to Gaga on the 21st, have time of my life, fly to San Fran on 23rd to get visa for living in France, 24th fly home and the 7 more days till I leave!
So I will try and update often.
Fin.
